它真的超嫩的。

） B:Metoo!It’smyfavoritesteak.（我也是！它是我最愛的牛排。

） tough硬的 如果肉太硬、太老，通常英文會習慣用tough來表達。

A:ThesteakissotoughthatIcouldn’teatit.（這牛排太硬了我根本沒辦法吃。

） B:Oh,really?Letmetryit.（喔真的嗎？讓我來試試。

） chewy有嚼勁的 Chew當動詞和名詞使用時，都是「咀嚼」的意思。

一直需要用嘴巴嚼嚼嚼的口香糖，英文就是chewinggum。

而chew加上y之後，就變成形容詞chewy「有嚼勁的」。

所以牛排很有嚼勁怎麼說？可以說ThesteakisveryQ嗎？雖然我們在台灣常會用Q來形容食物很有嚼勁，但英文不會這樣說喔！ 正確的說法應該是：Thesteakischewy.（這塊牛排很有嚼勁。

） crispy酥脆的 好吃的牛排，往往都會把表面煎得脆脆的，而這種酥脆的表面也就是影片裡提到的crust「焦面」。

如果要形容這種酥脆的口感，我們就可以用crispy表達喔！ A:Forme,thebeststeakshouldbecrispyoutsideandtenderinside.（對我來說，最好吃的牛排應該要外酥內軟。

） B:Maybeyoucancomeovertomyhousefordinnersomeday.Mymomisgoodatsearingsteak.（也許你可以改天來我家吃晚餐。

我媽超會煎牛排的。

） A:Thanks!Iwouldloveto.（謝啦！我超樂意的。

） greasy油膩的 Grease當名詞使用是「油脂」，而當動詞使用是「抹油」。

而grease去掉e加上y之後，就變成形容詞greasy「油膩的」。

A:Hey,doyouwanttohavelunchatthatsteakhouse?（嘿，你想不想在那家牛排館吃午餐？） B:No,thanks.Itriedtheirsteakbefore,anditwasreallygreasy.ItwastheworststeakthatIhaveeverhad.（不了謝謝。

我以前吃過他們的牛排，肉超油的啦。

那是我吃過最難吃的牛排了。

） juicy多汁的 有沒有覺得它跟哪個字似曾相識呢？沒錯，就是juice！Juice是「果汁、肉汁」的意思，而去掉e加上y之後，就變成形容詞juicy「多汁的」，是不是很好記呢？ 所以如果要形容牛排軟嫩多汁的話，我們可以這麼說： Thesteakistenderandjuicy.（這塊牛排軟嫩多汁。

） succulent可口多汁的 Succulent跟juicy意思相近，都是「多汁的」。
