Navigatorcollaboratedwithanindustry-wideconsortium,includingMANEnergySolutions,BabcockInternationalandtheNorwegianMaritimeAuthoritytoachievetheAIPfromDNV. ThenewgascarrierdesignhasbeenawardedtheAIPbasedonthespecialfeaturesnotation(GFNH3)underDNV’snewrulesfortheuseofammoniaasfuelingascarriers.DNV,alongsidetheNorwegianMaritimeAuthority,reviewedthedesignandrelevantdocumentationandfoundnopotentialshowstopperstoitsrealisation.
