環境温度を独立したセンサーで測定(オプション)
本体チャンバー内の湿温度とは別に測定をする部屋の環境を捉えるセンサーを用意しました。
今回から採用されたBluetoothによる通信でこの環境データと測定結果を同期してパソコン側に記録されます。
従来からのアダプター等は全て互換
標準添付の小型アダプターで唇、頭皮のTEWL(水分蒸散量)も。
また膜透過・経皮吸収試験用Franz-Cell専用アダプターを用意(17mm、15mm、11.28mm、9mm)もオプションで用意しています。

測定の仕組み
経皮蒸散量測定の原理
本体の開口部から内蔵センサーまでの構造は、ほぼ密閉された円筒の形をしています。
測定は本体のスイッチを押し、電子音の合図で測定部位に開口部を押し当てると約7-12秒間で測定が行われます。
内部のセンサーがこの間のTEWL値を計算し、外気の湿度と相対温度も合わせて表示します。
換気時間の調整中はスタートボタンにロックがかかり、換気終了と同時に再度スタートが可能になります。
従来型経皮蒸散量測定機器との比較
上のグラフは古くから使用されている開放型蒸散計との比較です。
機器が理論上の計算でどれだけ正確かを実験するためメンブレン(水蒸気を通す膜)で覆われた皮膚モデルからの蒸散を測定します。
VapoMeterでの蒸散量測定値と計算上の蒸散値では220g/m2hまで高い相関がれあられました。
一方の開放型蒸散計では120g/m2付近から著しい相違が見られます。
