申請出進口廠商英文名稱預查及辦理登記前，應先查詢擬預查及登記之英文名稱，是否已有著名註冊商標在先；出進口廠商若以他人著名註冊商標之文字作為英文名稱登記，經判決侵害商標權而需變更名稱者，應依規定向貿易局辦理變更登記。
