IwanttostartoffbysayingthatthisappisamazingandIuseitasanalternativetomanyoftheotherstopmotioneditingsoftwaresasitismucheasier.Ihaveusedthisappforabout8monthsandhavespentcountlesshoursanimating.IhaveboughtalloftheaddonstogetthefullexperienceandmakemystopmotionsasbestasIcan.ThatsaidrecentlyIhaveencounteredaproblemthatisnotonlyirritatingbutunnecessarilydifficult.Recentlythemergeoptionhasbeengreyedout,althoughhismightnotseemlikesuchabigproblemitisreallyirritating.IamcurrentlyworkingonanantmanandthewaspLEGOtrailerstopmotion,andacharacterknownastheghosthaspowersthatrequireamergeofdifferentslides,theshrinkingandgrowingeffectsalsorequirethesamemethodbutIcan’tforthelifeofmefigureouthowtofixthis.Ihaveattemptedtocontactthedevelopersthroughthewebsite,butIgotanerrordisplayandcouldn’tmovefurther.IfthisisonlyasimplebugthatcanbefixedorapatchthathasbeenridiculouslyovercomplicatedthanIneedtoknow.IhavespentaboutanhourresearchingifothershaveencounteredthesameproblemorarehavingtroublebutIcan’tfindanything,ifanyonehasanysolutionsorthedevelopersthemselvesseethisthenpleasehelp.ThisissomethingthatIknowhasworkedinthepastsothereisnoreasonitshouldn’tnow. MaxStopMotion , 10/04/2018 Iabsolutelylovethisappbutithasafewproblems OksoIhavefinallyfoundanappthatletsmecreateanimationswithouttoomuchtrouble.It’sveryintuitiveandhasmanygreatfeatures.Butaseveryotherappithasit’sproblems.OneoftheonesI’vehadthemostissueswithisthatwhenIhaveitsettomanualitwillstillautocorrectbrightnesswheneverIputmyhandinfrontofthecamera,notsureifit’smyphone’sfaultortheapp’sbutitisaproblembecauseitcreatesalotoflightflicker.AnotheristhatwheneverIhaveitzoomedinandIgotolookatthepicturesIhavealreadytakenitresetsthezoom.Thismakesitverydifficulttoanimatedialogue.Ihaveafewmorenitpickeycomplaints.MostlyjustthatIcan’tsettheISOtoanythingbelow100(Iknowthatexpensivecamerasdon’tgobelowiteither.)Ioftenfindthatmysetsarewaytobright.Andonefinalcomplaint,thereisn’tasliderforwhitebalance.Ijustfeelrestrictedbecauseithasasetofpresets.Ialsohaveasuggestion:afeatheroptionforerasing/paintingwouldbeawesome.Itwouldcreatesmoothertransitionsfromthepreviousframetothenext.Andalsoifthereisawaypleaseallowustochangetheapertureaswell.OverallthisisbyfarmyfavoritestopmotionappandIonlywanttoseeitimprove.Hopeyoufoundthisuseful.
