本書為英文寫作之工具書，因此自增訂新版以來，書後即附有英文作文模擬題150，以便學生課後自行練習寫作。

本題集中第48題己過時，特以藍色標示，另第72題恰巧與今年大學聯招英文作文題類似，特以紅色標示。

  大學多元入學，其中「英文寫作能力測驗」將於九月試考施測，另「全民英檢」中相當於高中職畢業程度參與之中級測驗之英文寫作能力測驗(註)也將於九月二十三日起舉行，特此將拙著中「英文作文模擬題150題」上網，除提供高中職同學選擇其中部分適合其英文程度者練習之外，大專同學也可利用暑假自行練習英文寫作。
